Tracking officer licenses and certifications

In most states an officer working without a current license can put your insurance and your own license to operate at risk. Clients ask for proof, sometimes at short notice.

How it works

1. In Admin, then Compliance, create the credential types you need: a state license, first aid, a firearms permit, whatever applies.
2. Attach a credential to each officer with its expiry date and a copy of the document.
3. Watch the list. Anything expiring within 30 days is flagged before it lapses.

The point is the warning

Recording an expired license after the fact tells you what went wrong. The value is the 30 day warning, which gives you time to get it renewed and to move the officer off post if it is not.

Credential documents are stored privately and shown through links that expire, the same as report photographs.
