Apeiron CAD is dispatch software for security companies. Your account is created by your employer (a security company) or, for portal access, by the security company that serves your organization. Apeiron Labs operates the service on their behalf as a processor; your employer or service provider is the controller of the data described below.

Location — collected only while on duty

Guard location is collected only between clock-in and clock-out. Clocking in requires an explicit, versioned in-app consent in addition to the operating system's location permission. While on shift, location is shared with your dispatch center — including in the background — for coordination and safety (such as responding to an SOS), and the app shows a persistent banner whenever sharing is active. Collection stops the moment you clock out. Off-duty location is never collected.

What else we process

Shift clock-in/out times, duty status changes, checkpoint scans, incident reports and their photos, activity notes, and account details your company provides (name, work email, badge). If your company uses radio, we also process radio presence from Zello (who is on the air, last-heard time, and device battery). Clients see only what the security company publishes to their portal.

Retention

Location points are automatically purged after 30 days. Operational records (shifts, incidents, reports) are retained for the security company as business records. Consent records are kept as evidence of the consent itself.

Sharing

Data is visible to your own company's authorized staff, and, where the company enables it, to the client whose site the record concerns. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers that host the service under contract. The optional radio feature runs on Zello: if your company turns it on, we send each radio guard's name and username to Zello to set up their radio identity, and their radio transmissions and any location shared over the radio are handled by Zello under Zello's own terms. Radio is off unless your company enables it.

Your choices

You can decline location consent (the app remains usable off-shift; on-shift features that require location are unavailable). You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time — see account & data deletion.
