Apeiron CAD is dispatch software for security companies. Your account is created by your employer (a security company) or, for portal access, by the security company that serves your organization. Apeiron Labs operates the service on their behalf as a processor; your employer or service provider is the controller of the data described below.

Location — collected only while on duty

Guard location is collected only between clock-in and clock-out. Clocking in requires an explicit, versioned in-app consent in addition to the operating system's location permission. While on shift, location is shared with your dispatch center — including in the background — for coordination and safety (such as responding to an SOS), and the app shows a persistent banner whenever sharing is active. Collection stops the moment you clock out. Off-duty location is never collected.

The map screen requests map tiles for the area on screen from OpenFreeMap. Those requests carry no account, guard or location records.

What else we process

Shift clock-in/out times, duty status changes, patrol rounds and checkpoint checks, incident reports, BOLOs and their photos, activity notes, optional voice recordings, and account details your company provides (name, work email, badge). Voice recordings are stored privately with the report or activity entry and are available to authorized users. We also process installation identifiers and notification tokens to synchronize saved work and deliver notices, plus usage events and error diagnostics to operate and improve the service. If your company uses radio, we also process radio presence from Zello (who is on the air, last-heard time, and device battery). Clients see only what the security company publishes to their portal.

Retention

Location points are automatically purged after 30 days by default. A security company may keep a longer window only under a written contract with Apeiron Labs; the app never lets a company raise it on its own, and only Apeiron staff can change it. Your company can see the window actually in force in its dispatcher settings and can tell you what it is. Operational records (shifts, incidents, reports) are retained for the security company as business records. Consent records are kept as evidence of the consent itself.

Sharing

Data is visible to your own company's authorized staff, and, where the company enables it, to the client whose site the record concerns. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except providers used to operate the service. Supabase provides authentication, database and private file storage; Vercel hosts the web service; Expo, Apple and Google deliver native push notifications using device tokens and event notices. Notification text identifies the event and keeps names, locations and report details inside the signed-in app. The optional radio feature runs on Zello: if your company turns it on, we send each radio guard's name and username to Zello to set up their radio identity, and their radio transmissions and any location shared over the radio are handled by Zello under Zello's own terms. Radio is off unless your company enables it.

Report drafting

AI-assisted report drafting is disabled for this release. Ordinary report writing, photos and voice notes remain available. The earlier optional report-assist feature sent the typed incident facts selected for a suggestion, which could include names and narrative text, to Google Gemini. This release does not send report facts to Gemini for drafting. Voice recordings are not sent to Gemini.

Your choices

You can decline location consent (the app remains usable off-shift; on-shift features that require location are unavailable). You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time — see account & data deletion.
